Crazy Cornsnake Breeder
I have not had time to get online lately to post anything, these were discovered thursday and I wanted to put pictures on.
The first is an Amel female I got from a young man who could not keep her (going to college). He had owned her since 2001 and said he bought her as a baby. She had never been bred and presented me with a nice mound of 26 eggs. I was very impressed. She is bred to my anery A male to see if there are any hets.
The second is a lavendar bred to a motley male who is het for lavendar. She is not a big snake compared to the others but out produced everyone. She is a 2003. She is 39'' and about 345g. She is a daughter to the miami I have, and her momma is small also. She gave me 28 eggs with one slug. This is her first sucessful breeding for me. She slugged out last year. This was the first breeding for the male. He is 2006 about 210g and 28''. Did pretty good for a virgin male.
I have one more female in process. She has always taken her time laying. Last year she had a 10 eggs and it took her 2 days to lay them. She is past 10 at this point and has one egg left. I found the first egg on Tuesday. If it were not for my tripping out about how long she took last year I would have been nuts again this year. My vet is great at calming down...
