Clutch # 3 of 2010 - het cinder X poss het

:eek1: Oh, my gosh . . . . that is so awesome! I am so happy for you! Murphy loves you this year!!! That was the light nose I saw!

Um, can I change my cinder male to a hypo cinder??? ~LMAO~

3 out of 4 phet females proven out :dancer:

Jen had 7 from the first 2 clutches hatch out, now these 2 . . . . and not everyone is out of the egg for clutch #3 yet! And, she is still waiting for clutch #4 to pip to see if that female is het cinder too!!!

Maybe Murphy is making up for last year when the poss het I bred then, wasn't het at all.
Seriously I doubt this involves luck so much as patience... I have a whole bunch of poss hets it's been my project since 07, I made a thread about them way back when, figure half of them should be het. I basically bred Zephyr to every breedable female I had in 07 and now his daughters are finally big enough and it's panning out! If anyone is interested here is the thread: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66025

But, you have to admit that proving 3 out of 4 possible hets is good odds so far :)

I'm going to be in your boat soon. I am waiting for a lot of my babies to get big enough to start my projects, then have to hold back F1, grow those, then breed F2 to see my dreams come to fruition. ~sighs~ Must have patience . . .

I just had a thought . . . you are going to have to change your name to "cinderhouse corns" ~LOL~

I'm counting it as 3 out of 5 though because the first one (last year) wasn't het. And Zelda the miami from carol had better odds than the rest, she was 66% poss het.
Anyway that's what it's all about, coming up with projects and seeing them through. It's what makes this hobby so addicting so you can see stuff like this happen!

BTW The rest of the babies from the clutch so far have been a few normals and a couple of hypos. with a couple eggs still yet to pip.

congrats!!! All my pos hets I got from you gave me eggs....maybe I'll have the same luck...hope you didn't take it all!

Jeff I was kinda wondering if you still had any of those! I can't even remember how many you bought, I just remember I sent you a box full with a couple of out of eggers from the second clutch. Well definitely I'm hoping you have good luck. That serpenco male has fathered at least one motley, so that seems to be floating in the mix too.

CONGRATS!! Oh man, I wanna come over and give that little guy/gal a photoshoot!

Seriously though, Congratulations Jenn! You reallly deserve it! :dancer:
