A Whiteout is a Amelanistic, Charcoal and Bloodred/Diffused corn snake. There are not that many around so the price is high. Snakes that have multiple recessive genes, the Whiteout has three, are going to be pricey simply because it takes years to get all three in one animal. The more recessives in an animal the harder they are to produce. Some morphs take many years, as in more than one generation of snakes, to create and that's assuming all goes well. This time, expense and effort needs to be at least partially recouped in the offering price of the snake. Not all morphs are created equal and the latest, coolest or most unique looking ones are gonna cost you. Think of the more expensive morphs the same way you think of the latest video game machine or "iWhatever". The the scarcer they are to get, the more people want them and if you can wait long enough they all end up in the bargain bin!
