Corn thinks she's a rattle snake

The most I've ever seen with any of my snakes has been the rattling tail and posing in a strike pose! Which is warning enough for me to leave a lone especially if in blue! If they are not then I always try to pick them up anyway, although sometimes they get the better of me and I leave them alone. I've only been actually bitten once by my male King snake Romeo just about 2 weeks ago when he was having a bad shed. I was trying to help him get some of the skin off and I think I just got a sensitive part when I was rubbing it off and he got agitated with me and bit the back of my wrist. Yeah, never have got actually bit by any of my corn snakes yet though :)

My two corns are pretty easy going when in blue. My female anery had a bit of an attitude last shed though. :) My ball pythons have never even gotten cranky. I have such laid back snakes. They are a joy!

Yes, I love all mine to pieces! The majority of my corns are very laid back and very easy to handle even in blue. I just have a couple of them that are not sure about me still.

My one corn gave us a tail rattle when we first brought her home. And when we found our missing corn, she transformed into a cobra. She was out to kill anyone who came close to her. She would strike at any movement, attack the glass, and threaten us with the flat head. She didn't rattle her tail like our other corn though. Thankfully, after a week she realized life was better as a cornsnake and once again, she's the sweetest snake ever. Even while deep in blue, she has no problem being picked up while I clean her viv and change her water. She fits in the palm of my hand and makes no effort to escape, she doesn't breathe heavy or appear stressed - completely calm and content :)
