CottonBall...YOU IDIOT!

It's looking better Daniel! She should be good as new soon!

All that dust is EXACTLY why I do not use ReptiBark. I've seen them with it in those nose and mouth, too! It's very dirty substrate!

Oh wow that's a difference. I'm so glad she's healing up well. Two more sheds and you won't know it ever happened!

Thanks guys, I'm really pleased with how she's healing...she's developed some strong yellows with this recent shed....she'll be an interesting one.

Thanks guys for all the support! I've put her back in her regular viv, but she's on aspen now instead of Reptibark.

Now that we've calmed down about CB here, don't you feel better?? I remember your worrying in the chat room the day it happened, I walked right into it. She does look great, and it looks like she'll heal without much of a visible scar. Now if I could only convince that snow to stop rubbing his head on rocks when he's blue.......

I'm actually really glad he posted these pictures... It's just further proof that it's not just WC that this happens to. Accidents still happen while in captivity (and being housed alone). And as I stated in my previous reply, although mine was caused by too low humidity and a bad shed (rubbing on a piece of wood that should have never been in the viv), the exact same thing happened to my python before I had him in my care. 3 sheds later and he's completely healed.

If he's looking that good already, I can't wait to see CottonBall in a couple months! :D

HERE'S an update...2nd shed

Cottonball shed last night for the second time after her self-inflicted injury.

Here's the head shot...

Look at these colors! For those of you who don't know, she was bought as a 'blizzard'

Here's a side shot. Cottonball, I'm so proud :D

Lovely! As far as I know blizzards can develop a fair bit of yellow...bur not as much as snows usually. She's very pretty and that wound will be all but gone in a couple of months...good luck with your little CB

HeHe this one was bought as a snow!

Glad to see she is healing up nicely

I suppose to keep this thread updated, I will post a picture about 5 or 6 sheds post accident.

You've probably already seen this picture, but that's ok. You can hardly see the spot any more. I'm sure as she gets bigger it'll smooth out even more. Thanks all for all your wonderful comments.
