crested gecko ?s

It appears, that males genes are somewhat more dominant in these guys. For whatever that's worth. I hope you do hatch some like that out, I'll be in that line for sure! Too bad, you won't find out for 6 months what the babes will look like.

Cost is driven by pattern and color.
Actually and gender as well, forgot that one. Females go higher, but you can't tell males from females for 6 - 10 months.

Q

so in me buying a baby, i could get a male or female. that cool. i might just breed some to recoupe some of the money spent or to upgrade the cage.

Well I just need this girl to put on some more weight and she and the "x-mas" morph will be put together

Haha...you're already getting sucked in! Welcome to the club.

Q

Who did she come from, Ken? She's nice, nice, nice! Red fires are catchy good dollar right now and I'd personally call her a harley! Sweet!

What's she weigh now? I have a couple females on the brink too. Close but not quite yet.

Q

so hey Q, who do you sell yours to. are there any local pet shops that buy them or do you sell them mostly online.

She came from Rachael. last time i got her on the scale she was about 29g. It has been a little while since she was weighed.

Thanks for the kind words Cool Q

Heh...Rach will be bummed to hear that...lol

That girl is close, real close. Good luck to ya on that pairing for sure! Don't forget me when you get eggs...lmao

tcr03,

I am holding back most of my babies still. It takes awhile for them to color up and show adult colors. Just building the stock at the moment, I only offered you up babies because you're local and you can avoid shipping costs.

Q

thats cool Q, i might take you up on the buy. ill have to see if there is anything at the show.

"Quills", or was it "Steve" :grin01: what kind of bird were you looking for? You know how I love my ducks

That's cool, Matt. Just thought I'd offer, no pressure. Like I said these babies aren't ready to go quite yet and I know how it is to wait on something you want and can get elsewhere.

These babies are from green fire parents. Most are looking like green fires although it appears that I'm getting some reds too which is cool!

Q

Oh ok...here's a peek.

Such a tease, huh? :crazy02:

man those things are so cute. lol even if i get one at the show. i still might just get one from you. is there a way to tell the sex at an early age, i wouldnt want to put two males together.

Nope...welcome to the wonderful world of waiting...lol

Some males will show their jewels as early as 6 months but some won't. I've heard of them hanging them up for as long as 10 months. You think it's a little girl and over night they drop....DAMN!

Oh well, that's part of the fun I guess.

Q

well do the males really start to fight when put together. and if they do, when do they start to fight.
