You have absolutely the most beautiful A+++++++++ BLOODS....
Have you attempted to line breed the dark ones?
If so put me on the list...
Thanks! But we're not quite there yet.
Rubicon is a son of SMR's amazing female fire 810. He was darker red on the saddles than his clutchmates and he has grown up to be this dark red beauty:

For comparison, here is Cerise, also a daughter of 810, who has the diffusion I am looking for but she's in her orange-y young adult phase. Don sent her to me to save her life when she was so tiny and not thriving. But since her recovery she has been a consistent voracious feeder and fast grower, I think she'll be okay to breed in a couple more months.

Rubicon was paired with both Blaze and Wild Cherry (who is het fire) last year. Here is one of the Blaze babies, a female who I adore for her diffusion and evenness of color even though she's scarcely the diameter of a pencil.

But this is one of the Wild Cherry fires...to my eyes a shade darker red. The camera doesn't pick it up nearly as much as in person since cameras tend to oversaturate reds even though I have mine set to "Faithful" to avoid excessive color in photos of my snakes.

Here's three fires together. The one at the top is one of Wild Cherry's darker ones.

My idea of a perfect fire is to get that dark red, diffusion and complete absence of white into the same snake!
