If I were you, save yourself the effort of weeding out the good from the bad. You obviously couldn't see your errors for what they are before, so what makes you think you can now? Save yourself and the poor guy that actually takes your crap videos seriously the hassle, and give it a rest. Save the educational videos to someone who has something educational to offer.

No? It's obvious that you are trying to make a statement with your username...you use it in many locations...
Further...you seem to have very similar troubles at every forum you go to, yet...we don't all go to the same forums. Sure, some of us frequent several forums and you might see one or two of us floating around on different forums. But certainly not enough to start an entire David Bashing Club at every forum you've ever participated on.
When are you going to understand that there is only one common denominator of every internet issue you have had? I'll tell you what it is since you can't seem to figure it out...it's You. YOU are the only common factor in every forum you've had problems, every site you've been banned from, every bad comment you've recieved, every negative remark you've heard. That should tell you something .
At the very least it should give you a clue that it's not a matter of everyone in the world working together against David...

there never really was a fight. from what i saw everyone was trying to give you pointers and advice (which they're good at here) and you took it as an attack. if i were you I'd stop trying to educate others with your videos and focus on learning as much as you can about your animals. then maybe you can try teach others.

And you don't think constantly watching your snakes go through what I think is safe to almost call abuse and listening to you spout off incorrect information to the world, yet presenting it as if it should be on National Geographic isn't? Can you seriously sit there and tell me that you can't see your mistakes for what they are? Are you that closed minded? Or is it virtually impossible for you to take criticism at all?

I can't speak for other forums, specifically the forums that you keep mentioning that apparently think you are some great "Snakemaster" but if they are really eating the spoonful you are feeding them, then I feel sorry for their herps as well.

I understand that I have made mistakes but it is no where near abuse
They all eat every feedind
All shed correctally
grow right
have their own cage
have a heat source
are tame
I don't see abuse I have had mistakes I will adimt but not abuse
I don't see a bunch of snakes on cedar, eating once a month, half shedding in a cage 2 times to small with others.

I am going to say this once. I am 15 yes. I have had a rough life yes to tell you the truth my life back then was truly hell. I got to middle school and was bullied unrelentlessly to the point that they had to change a whole class and three kids got expelled for verbal abuse. My own fathershuned me for haveing snankes he tole me it was stupid and it would get me no where and I would fail woth them. DO you know how that feels. He has to this day never ever supported any thing about my hobby. SO I am going to be defensive. i try not to be but it just happens to be how i act due to old injurys. I am still treated that way in school and my dad still can't stand my herps.
I love them unconditionaly. They mean more to my than most of the people in my life. My snakes and family and one or two freinds are all I have. I want them to live happy healthy good lives. Yes I dropped my corn snake and it is under quarentine fro one week to watch for injury ok.

All I can say is...if you are going to post 'educational' videos, expect feedback. If you can't handle criticism, don't post videos. The people here are very passionate about reptiles...and if they see something wrong they are going to speak up. However, it's up to you how you want to take their constructive criticism. If one cannot handle constructive criticism, then one cannot learn. This thread started out as people giving you criticism, and you throwing up walls and not listening.
Now, I'm not going to get too up in arms about it because after all you are 15. And no matter how 'mature' any 13, 14, 15, 16 year old tells me they are it's 99.9% of the time not true. Every teen thinks they are 'mature'. All I can say is...when you are 20, 25, 30, 40, etc....you will look back on this time in your life and realize your mistakes, you will say to yourself "gee, I guess I really didn't have all the answers"...hindsight is 20/20 after all. So, the only advice I can give you is to appreciate the criticism you are offered...and use that criticism to your advantage. Many of the people here have more experience with reptiles than you have had years of life...take their advice!

Well I try not to let them interfer for instance it is not my dad it is his wife and her family that do stuff like that. One time I caught a beautiful black racer at my step grandpas and while I was holding it he kept saying he was gonna kill it. He eventulally snet his dog to kill it the next day I found the same snake with no head. And the verbal abuse from school someone brought in a baby garter dead and threw it at me

Do I know how that feels? Do you REALLY want to ask a gay guy that? I was KICKED OUT OF MY HOUSE at age 16. I was living out of my car for 2 months, because my parents didn't want me in the house. My mom HATES my snake hobby, and wants me to sell them all, and my dad isn't far behind her. Open your eyes, kid. There's a lot of people who've been through more than you could ever go through in your worst nightmares.

Am I a dirty old man for browsing DYK?
I was going to start a new thread about virtual friendship entitled, Am I a dirty old man for browsing DYK?. You all sure know how to share. Don't worry I've only browsed a couple of times, and have promised myself not to do it anymore.
David, you don't need to try so hard to be accepted by this group of people. I don't think anyone here actually dislikes you. Some have offered words of encouragement. You are not going to "fit in" with every group of people that you encounter, no matter how hard you may wish to. Throughout your life you will have varying level of friendships. Some will be very superficial. A precious few friends will be completely accepting of who you are. You would be wise to start thinking of cornsnakes.com as some of your professional friends with whom you listen more than you speak.
This forum takes its "hobby" very seriously and should be considered as a professional forum. Many of its members are indeed professionals in the herp field. All of your problems seem to come from trying to "talk shop" with people who either are or consider themselves to be experts in the field.
You mention the other forum where you fit in and feel accepted. I am glad that you found such a place. There are a number of reptile forums out there. Each is unique. Spend the most time where you feel most comfortable; but don't stop perusing the great information that this forum has to offer.
If are looking to make friends, which is the impression that I'm getting, you might want to spend more time posting in the DYK and less time in the professional areas. There is a hard core group of people there who are very friendly. You can discuss any personal issues and just shoot the breeze. But if you are looking for confirmation that you have arrived in the herp world, this is the wrong forum.
I wish you the best. Life is always tougher than it should be. Unfortunately, it takes a lifetime to learn how to live, and even then some of us(me) never quite figure it out. Tim
