Day 63 (nothing)

MoneyStax123

Yeah, I'm Obsessed. And?
Ok so it's day 63 for my 17 eggs and it doesn't seem like anything is going to happen. The anticipation is killing me.! :twohammer How do I know when it's coming close to hatching time?

Mine didn't hatch till day 72... I noticed no dimpling till the day they hatched... what do you keep you temps at? Mine averaged 80*F

I kept mine around 82 to 84 and they were dimpling any where from 3 days to a week before hatching

I was keeping mine at 81-82 degrees but have raised the temps to 84 now and I am on day 61. Mine also have not shown any signs of hatching soon. Good luck with yours!

Mine were at 82, no dimpling at all - did get star patterns on the eggs about a week before hatching - and the first pip was at 78 days. They are coming out one at a time too little buggers! Good luck with yours...they will come!!

hey breeshuford you should candle your eggs for growth and are they white and plump and what temp do you have it set at.

Did you try candling the eggs to see if they are fertile? Just take a bright flash light to each egg, if you can't see through them or if you see veins you're good to go. Obviously make sure you don't turn the eggs (i am sure you know this lol) Some guys just take longer to hatch!

Hello all.
Sorry I am late.
I keep my eggs at 84 degrees and I candled them earlier today. They are fertile and it seems like the dark spot is taking up most of the egg. No signs of any dimpling or star patterns though. :(
I am hoping they hatch soon because on the 13th of August I am leaving for 2 weeks to Honduras. :(

Hmm. Maybe you'll have a nice surprise like we did! We checked the eggs before bed one night and still had no change, the next morning we had babies! Good luck!

Well, right now I don't have any dimpling in my eggs, but star patterns I've had on a few for several days now, And I've switched the eggs into another smaller container with a tight fitting lid The humidity was to high in the other container with hatchrite, now I am using some other kind of material, thats really metalic like, brown in color, forget what it is called, the humidity is down to 95% and the temps are now 84.5 degrees. Almost on day 62.

That's what im hoping for. I just checked this morning and I noticed a star patter on 1 of the eggs :) I am really excited and hope they come soon.

Is there a certain time of the day when they hatch or is it just random?
