Different lookin hatchling...

It does look aneryish, but when you adjust brightness, you can see the red better. There's possibly effects of the lighting used. To be sure from pics you'd hafta see in sunlight, maybe no flash.
Hope to see you update us on this lil one after couple sheds :)

Then we just complain about the picture quality. XD Either way, it is a really handsome little beast.

will try to make a better pic in sun light without flash later
to try gettin his colors right!

pic update

so here´s a pic of him without flash n in loomin light

I'd say it's a brownish Anery...unless there has been a hidden Cinder trait? The saddles DO look dark black-brown, yet the bakground is grey.

I hatched one rather brownish anery in a clutch full of black-and-grey aneries, but it wasn't as brown as this one. Will be interesting to see if the difference is still there after a few sheds.

My guess is anery as well. They can still end up with lighter saddles. I've seen some pretty cool variations of aneries. Cute little guy :)

Looks like an anery to me. Always did. Especially when you posted a normal clutchmate with knock-your-socks-off red and orange. I never understood why there was any argument at all about what it was.

The pictures of the bloodreds I post from my collection must look on fire on wax32's monitor. ;)

Thx desert!

Yeah the siblings realy do have deep dark reds think must be
the het blood influence.
Think this guy will figure our great specially he shows some
pinkys colors!

When the photos show a heavy imbalance of color, it can be very difficult to identify the subtle variation in shades. The one photo ("updated") seems closest to true life, IMO, and it looks just like an anery such as this one:

you´re totaly right susan the colors a very close to real life btw your anery is a stunner!
from which pairin is he/she?

Maybe Anery

The ACR is and was a good idea, but I think its way too late. Alot of corns used to be bred to Snow corns to see if there new morphs. This would mean that alot of Cornsnakes would be Het Anery A. Now if you add that in, with the numerous breeders that bred multiple males to breed to there females to insure fertile clutchs you never know what genes your cornsnake could be carring.A long time ago I was breeding nice Okeetee looking Cornsnakes, alot that I purchased were suppose to be locality and selectively bred locality animals.Others I bought just because to me they had the look of what I liked alot, red and orange with nice borders. I had purchased a really nice looking pair at a show I attended, they were sold as Okeetees but I didnt question it any further as they looked nice. The season came along that I bred the pair and expected to see a nice clutch of okeetee looking babys and a lone Anery Stripe hatched out! From that breeding I knew that anything could pop up and has been for awhile now.It seems the more I breed the more confusing of what is really hatching:shrugs:

know what ya mean bro!
But whatever he looks great n i will keep him to breed
him back to his mother to see if maybe theres somethin else
in the line n hopefully get some grest granites n stuff!

That is a nice little anery! Lucky you to find a hidden het. Good luck on breeding back to mom to check for other stuff!

pic update
