Dick's Last Resort is a ton of fun! :cheers: Everthing comes served in stainless buckets,the atmosphere is quite entertaining. :grin01:

Count us in

Myself and my other half will be there. I'll vote for no seafood as well. Usually seafood means crab and lobster. And I won't eat anything that is going to try to crawl backup.

That's funny! I never thought of it that way, I just picture icky fish and have tried seafood of different kinds and just don't care for it. We will be glad to meet everyone! :)

I'm with ya' Joe. I'd be happy with some sushi myself, but majority rules. I'm ok to eat anywhere really.
 
As long as it's not China Buffet I'm fine with that as well. One thing I am not fond of is the majority of chinese food---or any oriental food for that matter. Blagh.

How one can eat that stuff and then snuff their nose at fresh seafood is beyond me.
 
Well, I'll tell you what... If anyone wants recommendations on other types of restaurants for Friday or Sunday, just let me now.

There's a llittle by-the-water-hole-in-the-wall seafood restaurant in New Smyrna that is a local favorite.

But I would recommend staying away from the Last Resort. It may be trading on it's fame right now, but it is still known locally as a 'cut and shoot.'

Let us not forget shrimp either. You can never tell how many whales those things have gone through. LOL.

Funny, I like shrimp, but last shrimp experience at RL was not fantastic, lots of shrimp with uncleaned shoots if you know what I mean. I am one of those visual people where I get an icky picture in my head then I can't touch the food. My boyfriend thinks it's hilarious. Are you going to the show???

You're right, it is all about compromise, that's why I agree that a buffet would be great. But I am not the only opinion that has to be considered. We hope you can make it!!! :cheers:

Not sure on the show but will be at the dinner. I can't eat fish cause when I was 19 and into weight training I had to eat a bunch of fish. The fresh ones, eyes still in and everything. Cut into one and it was rotten. Hard, grey and smelled like a tire fire. Turned me off ever since.
I will vote for a buffet however. :crazy02:
