So far my list is
honduran milk snake
nelson's milk snake
Pueblan milksnake
Some garter snake(not sure which ones.)
western hognose
children's python
Oh ok scratch that the care sheet I looked at said 4 feet but I'll trust most members of cornsnakes then a care sheet.A honduran is technically capable of passing the 5 feet mark... but colubrids are slender....
I know ball python is a bit big, but if you got a male maybe.Since they arent that active they dont need a huge cage either.Maybe a 30 gallon as long as you took it out and gave it exercise..I think they make great pets.Nice and slow so they hang out on you, easy going, and those faces are just too cute.A baby can be had for around 50 bucks.
To get a good deal on tanks wait till Petco has the dollar a gallon sales or look on craigslist.I just scored a nice 29 gal for ten bucks on craigslist.

The one thing with them is aren't they normally hard to get feeding F/T
A Ball python male can come in many morphs and be quite spectacular.... though the girth will be considerably bigger than that of colubrids...
Mine were not hard to get onto F/T, actually my 2 were easier then my corn to switch, and actually generally are just easier to feed lol. My corn is more picky then my Ball pythons. My female is being a pain in the butt to switch to rats though, so if you got one that started off on rats I think you would be just fine.
All be it my snakes are still young and only around 2ft, they are in 4ft long by 14 (I think I would hae to measure to be sure lol)inches deep and 12 inches tall. I know when I used the calculator it came out to 34.9 Gallons. Just to give you an idea on how much space 34 gallons is.
