The army is notorious for putting C wire on their vehicles... Its not like it doesn't grow rampantly in Afghanistan anyway...lol
On to my story..lol
Two weeks before I was sent to predeployment training last year, I was cleaning tools with a drimmel and wire brush attachment... Well, a piece of the brush broke off, bounced off my cheek, off my "protective" eye wear, and embedded itself into the blue portion of my eye...
I called the hospital on base, they told me to come in and they would take care of it... I show up, the guy who was supposed to take care of it was out... So they make me drive to the civilian hospital that is roughly 15 miles from base... I do all of this without blinking, or I try to anyway, because blinking hurt really bad... That incident ended up costing roughly 800 dollars, 400+ for emergency room charges, and 300+ for doctor fee's.... all he had to do was take a q-tip type swab and swab my eye... the piece of metal wasn't very far in...
I did get a prescription for some cool pain meds out of the deal, but was dumb and didn't get them filled....lol I had migraines for a week after that...

I guess I'm too used to seeing preppy rich boys in Kelowna where I'm from driving them around, I'd be suprised if even a tenth of the ones I've seen even have ever seen dirt let alone anything more!
