Eat then shed ?

Hi I finally got my snake to eat last night 10/13 this morning I find a shed in the viv.
I never have owned a snake until 10/2 when I bought this little amel so last night it ate and shed its skin is this normal?
 
My snow did that once. I knew she was getting ready to shed, but I figured I'd offer anyway since it was her regular feeding day. She ate the mouse, then as soon as I put her back into her viv, she started shedding.
