Where do get you mice etc. for feeding?

1.Local pet store
2.Online
3.Mice from a trap in your garage
4.Magical mice that float down from the moon
5.Other

lol, how do I order these magical mice? ;)

I chose online, although I'm actually able to pick up at the facility. I order from the Big Cheese Rodent Factory.

Chose online, as I've ordered them that way the last two times. Before that it was the pet store and very much more expensive that was!

I picked other. We breed our own here, and if we need any surplus, we pick them up form a Rodent breeder around our area.

I get mine from the show I got my snake from when I can, but sometimes also just get the "artic mice" from PetSmart. I have not tried any of the online places for mice yet, but want to soon...

I have been getting artic mice from petsmart too. they are ridiculusly expensive.:eatsmiley i am thinking about doing online rodent pro.

Well I still go to my cheapest place i can go but i like rodentpro.com they are cheap for the amount you get its nice. So i also choose magical mice from the sky cause they either come fed-ex'ed or from a plane so take your pick (i also found it quite humorous too!)

I voted "Other" as my snakes are mostly fed mice and rats I breed and raise myself. However, I have to make at least 1 purchase a year from RodentPro to supplement what I produce.

None of the choices. I am still getting rid of some frozen mice I have, and unless I get little bitty snakes that can't handle rats, I'll go to a pet store with the best prices.

I will be breeding my own at some point though.

I haven't bought any mice online yet, but I asked the question about which was the "best" source (in another thread). Several stated that they preferred The Mouse Factory, saying they have the cleanest mice, and that they come vacuum packed. They are more expensive than Rodent Pro. Some people had issues with Rodent Pro mice. Like I said, I haven't purchased from any of these and so don't have first hand knowledge.

I understand the shipping charges are pretty high, though, so I'm not sure just how much cheaper it is than Arctic Mice when you consider all the costs. I'd be interested in hearing what others have to say.
