Feeding log

I keep records, too. When Sienna is fed, when she looks like she's beginning the shedding process, when she goes blue, when she sheds. I record when I weigh her, too.

I only have 2 corns and I have a journal for each. I guess when I get more keeping a journal for each one will take up a lot of space so one of these programs probably would work better. I just cannot stand the thought of possibly losing data from a crash so I'll probably keep paper and comp. records.

I record feedings (size of mouse), sheds, and weights which I try to do every feeding.

I too keep records....

Each snake and now my beardie have an Excel spread sheet which has the following:

a top line with the name-sex-morph, hets-bred by, purchased from, purchase location-cost

then from left to right there are the following sections:
date, snake weight(gms), food weight(gms), food type & Qty, Flukers Cal & Vit D Powder, NutriBac, Regurge, Hrs to post feed poop, shed, notes (this is where I note anything that is not covered in the other columns) For the columns Flukers, NutriBac, Regurge & Shed, I simply put an N or a Y to indicate whether or not the item was used or the event occurred.

If I only knew how to put a screen shot on here I would and it would make so much more sense.

I also go one step further and every couple of weeks I do a print preview to see if I have another page of care log info filled up and if I do I print it of, this is a safe guard as I had my laptop crash once and lost all of my snake files for the 5 snakes I had then and my tech was only able to recover bits and pieces of the files. Now that there are 17 snakes and a lizard, I would be devastated if I lost it all again!

We need an Iphone app:)

For me, I tend to use notemaster app on my iphone. I track feeding times, weight sheds etc. I only have one snake but you can easily open different files for each of your animals:)

Works great for me

I just signed up for 30 day trial for Vyper. I like that it has option to backup/save. I worry about that with iHerp. I'm making a binder with all of the info, that I will keep in the snak room. Sometimes I forget to log something on iHerp.

I only have one snake so I just have an Excel log on my computer. I record the dates that she is fed, if she ate or refused, her weight, feeder size/weight, and shedding dates. Nothing too complicated, but as a new snake owner I like having that history in case of future health concerns.

feeding log

Hi , I have a log for my cornsnake (sasha). I note everything in it. From feeding to shedding to when I cleaned her viv. I note how well she been eating how long it's takin her to eat. It's a great way to keep a track of your corns behavior and feeding pattern. It's grat fo keeping track of your corns sheds also.
