feeding when about to shed ?

Sorry to sort of hijack the thread, but I thought that they only got finicky when they where about to shed, not that it could cause them to regurgitate! D: I've been feeding both of my corns while they're in shed and had no problems... should I stop?

It depends on the snake! There are no hard and fast rules about most things people recommend. That's why it's important to pay attention to YOUR snakes, and do what THEY need. A lot of the ohmigawd things that people freak about are more in the arena of "if you want to err way on the far side of caution" things rather than "the snake will burst into flames" things. We *tend* to avoid feeding when our snakes are in shed mode, simply because if they don't want the prey it's a waste of money. However, we have a few (that are hard to tell when they're in shed) that we've fed late afternoon and they've shed before dark, no problems.

Ok, thanks! But if they start to show any signs of not feeding during shed, I'll stop.
