Dies fiberglass screen melt under heat lamps if the lamp is resting right on it?

I cant find anything online...

Has anyone used fiberglass screen to make a screen top? Its for a beardie not a corn. My corns dont get heat lamps :)

I've been around fiberglass basically my whole life. My family used to build rockets out of fiberglass, I worked in an insulation fabrication warehouse, and have used fiberglass to patch rusted holes on my truck. The fiberglass definitely shouldn't melt, and holds up to heat pretty well but it is quite nasty to work with, and certainly isn't healthy to breathe. I would try going to you're nearest hardware store. They probably have a suitable screen you can use for an enclosure there.

Don't mind the irrelevant hobby.
