Finally at Day 81!

Susan

Go Ahead, Make My Day!
In all honesty, I didn't expect any pippies quite yet! I incubated my first few clutches at typical temps for the first few weeks, but when summer showed up, I moved them and all the future clutches into the laundry room to incubate where I knew I wouldn't get any heat spikes. Hubby has been keeping the house temp at 78-79 so I knew it would be longer than the norm for me to have any pippies. But I've been checking the first clutch due twice a day since day 63, just because, and I was greeted this evening by 2 little noses! If I get lucky, I may find some zigzags and/or some motleys, perhaps with some anery color, but that's about it for this clutch. And these will all be spoiled rotten as I won't have another clutch due to pip for another 2 weeks at least.

I love those surprises! I've been finding little Ambers this week, next week mabey Butter or amel motleys, followed by Lavs, Opals, Bloodreds, Amels, then I still have lots more ready to lay. I didn't want to double clutch this year, but some of my females had other ideas! Congads on the pups
