My Snow corn surprised me this morning with a clutch of 11 good eggs! She locked up with our beautiful Bloodred, and my wife and I are really excited to see a whole bunch of babies in a couple months.

A nice clump and 3 stragglers

Congrats on the eggs! Forgive me if you already know this, but they look a bit dehydrated. If you haven't already, you can put a damp paper towel over them to try & rehydrate them, & plump them back up.

Do the parents have any hets?

There wasn't much I could do at 0500 when I got up so they had to wait till I got home today. It was killing me all day hoping they would be ok and wondering what the little guys would look like. The eggs are already looking better.

I bought them both second hand, so I didn't get any het info. Surprises when they hatch would be awesome, but I just 11 healthy, squirmy little worms.

Are you planning on holding any back to pair back together when they're grown up? You could end up with a variety of some cool babies.

Congrats On your Clutch!!! The first one is a rush!! Glad the eggs have plumped back up for ya!!! I agree with NWHeather.....maybe hold back a few...And Find out if theres anything fun hidden inside those beauties!! :)

Even without hidden hets, holding back a pair, growing them up, & pairing them could result in: (Courtesey of Corncalc.com)

Gosh,
That's a whole lot of possibilities! I don't see how I couldn't keep a pair!

Sadly I had to remove 2 eggs because one was collapsed and the other was collapsed and had some fuzzy mold.

That leaves me 9, and I hope they are OK.
