First Clutch Finally Pipping!

Wow Josh, cool clutch. I'm glad you twisted my arm and made me get my butt over here to look. I'll take the funky anery, the funky normal, and the funky snow. I'll get back to you with my results on what they are in 3 years. ;)

But seriously, if you want some help figuring out what those little critters are, I have all the necessary genes laying around. :D

I'll definitely take you up on that! Any ideas on testing Smokey's homo Anery next year? We'll have 40 hours of driving time to work out the details...

Yep, my anery stripe het hypo girl will need a boyfriend. I'm selling her ghost het stripe boyfriend and breeding her back to one of her sons, but she'll be free next year!

Sounds like a plan, Hallie!

Does anybody have name ideas for the pattern on the goofy Anery? Banded, to me, implies Motley and Milksnake phase is for Miamis...so what do I call this "girl"? I know it's not a new gene, but I want a better name for it than "that weird Anery". :shrugs:

Before you name it you have to reproduce it first . you have to make sure it is a new gene and if not and it is just a aberrant pattern then you have to line breed it for a few generations

5 Normal, 3 Amel, 5 Anery and 4 Snow.

I just found 7 slugs and 2 questionable eggs in Valerie's tub! She's trying real hard to get you guys more funky babies. She's also holding on to the last egg again...

Even if it is not a new gene maybe it can be a linebred fancy version lol! I'd call it plaid :crazy02: striped, cubed, and banded are taken so . . . it doesn't leave much does it? Ok, seriously though if you can produce more with that pattern maybe tiger?

Nice looking group you got there Josh! That funky normal is cool and I am not into normals but that one catches my eye.
