First Shed Help

Really depends on whats available to them, and how hard of a time they are having at it. I found half of little Plisskens shed "under" his aspen.

I did a little search, and didn't find one. Also he never really went into a "blue faze" I just noticed all of a sudden his eyes were cloudy. Does anything else make a snakes eyes cloudy?

lol nope!

some take a bit longer than others, I'm sure you'll find one either tonight or tmrw..
my boy usually sheds on the third night after clearing ..

hope this helps!

It could be days to a week or slightly more. It really varies from snake to snake. Little Plissken was blue and cleared up before I bought him, and shed at the end of his settle in time. It was actually horrible because I had no idea to be expecting a shed (the pet store wasn't aware of it), so the shed was pretty bad. Moral of the story is, your little guy will shed when he's ready, which is impossible to try and 'schedule'.

That milky/cloudy/opaque look is what we call the blue faze.

Generally, unless you have an overhead heat light or something that dries out the air, you don't need to do anything special for them during their shed.
Some people will tell you to soak them, humid hides, etc, but unless the snake is prone to having problems in shedding, those are not necessary at all.

congratulations!

I was soo excited to find my first shed!
and good thing it wad full! ;)
Thanks. I also fed him for the first time today. He ate that mouse in under 30 seconds :D
