Most adult opals are pink like the first pic of my Opal motley female, not much difference between colors. There are a few opals (or Lavenders) that are what you call bicolor. Rich seems to produce a few great ones. I don't mean to steal photos but someone sent me this photo (second one) of one of Rich's Opal motleys, notice the distinguishing colors.The great bicolor hatching you saw in the earlier thread was produced by Sean (VMS).
