Good news!!! (in re: my last post)

Thank you all for your advice on my last post, but I have good news! My mother, seeing how upset I was at the thought of losing Kaven (I was over for dinner tonight, and started bawling whilst stirring the soup), has graciously offered to let me keep him at my parents' house!

My parents are none too thrilled with snakes, in general, and both disapproved of my decision to get one; I heard threat after threat about how he would NOT be coming back to their house, if I ever had to move back home.

But I guess he's grown on them, because when I started crying Mom called Dad at work, and they both said, "Oh, sure." I wasn't even going to ask, because they'd made it so clear they didn't want him around.

They live across town from me, but I can still get over there a few nights a week; I'll be feeding him and cleaning his viv and everything, but they are at least gonna check his temperatures daily and make sure they're what they should be.

Not ideal, but it saves me the hassle of trying to get him mailed out to California--and it means I don't have to give him up!

Now the problem of how to find a place for him can be safely delayed for another year. :)

Thanks again!!

I just read your other thread.
Yea I'm so happy for you and I agree that pretty soon they will love him as much as you do!
