Goodbye

Hey, I'm an atheist and I celebrate xmas. Heck, even the buddists I know celebrate xmas. Not in the religious way, of course, but more in the 'spirit of giving' way. We don't all just sit around in empty apartments devoid of wall hangings and pretend the rest of the world doesn't exist, you know. :p

That being said: Oh man, I hate these type of posts. You want my sympathy because you're leaving? Well you don't have it. Sorry, buddy. I didn't read up on the posts that you were talking about, but you get it back as well as you give it around here. Based on this post, the fourms will be better off without you.

I am also Pagan, from a Jewish family, with a Christian boyfriend, who celebrates Christmas with his family, Hanukkah with mine, and Winter Solstice myself.

You'd think I'd get confused, but I believe that all religions are a framework for individuals and groups to feel togetherness and spirituality. I feel as comfortable praying in a Catholic Church (which I have) as in a temple or just out in the woods under the stars.

I think it is great that during Xmas time families get together and enjoy some peace and happiness. I will participate in any holiday (regardless of religion) if it means togetherness and happiness.

All I have to say about this thread is:

The starter of this thread needs to take a deep breath and relax! It's ok to be a worried first-time owner. Some social tact will help you get better answers to your questions. I hope your snake is OK and you have gotten some valuable information.

I thought this one was pretty funny:

Ok, what the heck. I felt inspired to make my very own lolcat

I don't really have anything mature or insightful to add to this, but OP reminded me of...

What A Friend We Have In Cheeses!

(The Official Wisconsin Hymn)

Thanks Jazz for the info on the official hymn, I missed the memo on that one.

I thought this was going to be a pitty party thread and was going to skip it, but now I too have to get spit and snot off my screen the Kitteh talk is toooo funny. Thanks for the grins and giggles everyone!

You know... I hate to say it... but based on the maturity (almost none) I've seen from the OP...

Well, allow me to express my sentiments through a kitten:
