Update: Unfortunately, Murphy decided to come by and visit. So far, three more eggs have pipped. Two are healthy, one has a severe back kink. Three are D.I.E. at full term - I'll be removing them shortly to see what happened. Another three have not pipped, but I am suspecting that they may have also passed away. So far, there is one that is pipping and breathing... hopefully he or she comes out healthy.
Here are some pictures of the three I just mentioned (including the one with the back kink). Thankfully the other two seem just fine. (the first two pictures are of hatchling #4)
Finally, back to the thread! Sorry for the delayed update for those that were curious about the results of this clutch.
Unfortunately, this clutch resulted in only six healthy babies this year. There may have been a temperature fluctuation that I did not see or there may be an issue with the parents. I will more than likely not be pairing these parents again, especially because it seems that the sire is not het for amel.
One of the six babies have shed so far. Hatch dates span from 07/25 to 07/30.
*Warning graphic image below*
First, here are the last two that are healthy. (the first hatched 07/29, the other 07/30 - neither have shed yet)
I decided to take a look at what may have happened with the ones that did not make it since they began to decay and found lots of spinal deformities. Very upsetting.
I am so sorry this is what is so heart breaking about breeding. Murphy wasn't kind to you this year.. You got a few cutie pies though. I hope you have better luck next year <3

Thanks, I'm sorry too. Murphy didn't stop there, though. Upon closer inspection of the six remaining babies, three have spinal kinks as well (two unnoticeable without touch, the other several tiny bumps that are visible if you look for it). Thankfully it doesn't seem like it'll affect them to the point where quality of life would be in question, so they should be great for pet only homes.
Hopefully next year will be better with a different pairing.
