I didn't hit the Charcoal Stripe jackpot this season. :( S'okay, cause there's still a slimmest of chance that I hit a Blizzard Stripe jackpot?!?! The last egg to hatch produced a blizzard, but there's no discernible pattern across the back. I took about 20 pictures (you know how blizzard patterns tend to show up on "film", but not to the naked eye?) to see if I could get any possible striping (or pattern) to show up, but there's nothing discernible at this point. :shrugs: Guess I'll have to anxiously await that first shed!!

Bummer on the charcoal stripe. Don't you just hate it when statistically you should hit the morph but in reality you miss it! :awcrap:

Oooh! I hope that's a blizzard stripe! So pretty! And think of all the anticipation the other clutch saved you by just being there when you got home!
 
Well I'm not so satisfied it's a Blizzard stripe after today's picture. I don't believe it's shed yet (there's still a couple from this clutch that haven't), so there's still hope. Nothing discernible one way or the other via looking at the belly either . . . could see the innards better than any pattern, or lack of pattern! :)

I'd think you'd see at least a small amount of stripe up at the base of the head. Sunlight might make it easier to see.
 
Well I think it's officially a regular old Blizzard poss het. Took some pics outside (thanks Nanci), and it's pretty clearcut got saddles as far as I'm concerned. Bummer, but that's part of the game.
