Like I said, I can't sprachen deutsch. I don't even think I can spell it properly. But at least there are plenty of German members here to help correct me.
 
I could attempt to recall my high school German, but I would surely embarrass myself. So I'll just say welcome to the Forum and enjoy your snake!
 
@ Teddy: I worked for BMW for a while and learned just a few things for when the bosses came over. Being bilingual helps me pick up accents and I use my Latin base to figure stuff out.
 
Hi there and welcome! I have never been to Germany and I don't know any German but I do believe my great grandmother's parents (fathers side) were from Germany. Lol if that counts for anything hahaha. We love pictures here :D we would love to see a pic or two of your little anery :D

OK, that almost exhausts MY Deutsch. My parents spoke it, but I don't. I know about 10 words & understand about 20 more when spoken.

We love snake pictures here, and I particularly like gray snakes, so please post some pictures. Danke!
