Hatching! Poss. Plasma Stripe (Hypo?) Clutch

Pasodama

New member
First hatchling pipped, yesterday (day 60), and left its egg today!
So far, only two others have pipped, today, out of a clutch of 17 good eggs (some other eggs had failed during incubation).
Am, anxiously, awaiting for the rest to pip! Although I will be quite happy with some other morphs, I really hope to see Plasma, or esp. Plasma Stripe, (poss. Hypo) pop up out of this clutch.

This is from the breeding of 100% hets for Lavender, Blood, and Stripe.
Parents look like Hypos but were never test bred for Hypo.
Alas, a breeding that can never be repeated, with this pair, since "mom", a first time breeder, can never be bred again ... she had a major prolapse when she was laying a second clutch (slugs).
At any rate, it seems that the parents are either Hypos, or at least het Hypo, since the first hatchling out is this little cutey:

As if waiting the couple of months, for the first pip, isn't enough ... This clutch is going to takes its time, for all to pip/hatch, as well. LoL

wow congrats!! great looking baby

Thanks.:)

That is one cute baby. Will keep my fingers crossed for your Plasma Stripe.

Thanks.:)

Congrats Deb! Fingers crossed for the home run!

Thanks Tom.:)
I am ~really~ praying for that home run. So far, though, the second one out of its egg, and four other noses that are showing, are not Lavender. Still have 11 more chances but ... aaaagh.LoL

Here is baby #2.

Beautiful little babies!!

Thanks Nanci.:)

Well, babies #3 and #4 are out of their eggs.
I ~think~ I saw a little Lavender nose poking out of one of the eggs but ... not really certain yet. Hopefully, combined with this baby not coming out far enough, it is not my very tired eyes playing tricks on me LoL.
Still have 7 or 8 eggs left to pip. Plus waiting for those, who have pipped, to leave their eggs.

Here are photos of Babies #3 & #4 (first two pics are #3 and the other two pics are #4):

Most of these seem to have some 'tude. This one (in the photo) was/is the one with the most (so far).LOL
Both parents had major 'tudes, as hatchlings, but, just some weeks later, they had calmed down ... and have had great temperaments ever since.

Thanks Lyndsi.:)
Plenty of Stripes, Blood Stripes(??), Bloods, etc., so far, but ... will have a minimum of one Lavender at least.
There may be another one, or two, but I know this one is. Don't know, yet, but it does look a wee promising to be either a Plasma or a Lavender Stripe ... maybe a Plasma Stripe (I can hope:D).

Lavender nose:

#6 is, so far, the only non-Stripe, &/or non-Blood, but does have het Blood markers.:)

First two photos are #5 and third photo is #6:

Woo-hooo! The last pip is another Lavender "something".:)
Sheeesh ... this clutch is sure taking its time for all to pip and to leave their eggs!LoL

These babies all seem to have some attitude! Awesome photos!

What a great clutch! Congrats! I like # 3, I love the feisty ones.

Thank you both.:)

Well, I am soooooo upset right now. The Lavender (or Plasma) Stripe left its egg. Such a ~beautiful~ thing but it has some bad kinks. Unfortunately, it will have to be euthed.:(
Have one last baby to leave its egg and it is a Lavender (possibly Plasma, possibly Striped) ... My last chance for a Lavender/Plasma Stripe. I ~pray~ that it will not have any kinks.

:( I'm so very sorry.

Thanks Nanci & Lyndsi. I am still upset about this. Makes me really worry (more than usual) about the Lav, that still remains, too (last to pip and, so, is still in its egg).
