So Its day 67 of incubation and if they hit 70 I would have started to get cranky ;)

Well here's one of the two little amels peaking out so far! You cant see so easily - he/she wasn't cooperating much - but its got brilliantly red coloration. So 16 more eggs to see if my female RO is het anery...:)

The father's Jay and PJ's Anery Motley het amel (thanks again guys).

Of course, more pictures to come

Thanks so much everyone.

So one's out, and three more are pipping. 14 to go!

4 for 4 are amels, or so it looks from noses. The guy thats out looks like he inherited a little of Mom's Okeetee pattern.

So since i don't have the good lights for photos here I'm going to wait until daylight tomorrow to disturb them and get more pictures, but don't worry there will be plenty:)

Thanks Jay

So the count is 2 amels out, and 3 amels, 1 normal, and 1 dark thing that hasn't let me see more than the tip of its nose all pipping. Dont want to jinx that last one with a guess.;)

pics! Pipping:

Concrats! Very nice nd healthy lokking pippers! Like the head of the amel looks like a thunderstorm and very rich colors!

Ok, so 16 are out. 10 are amels, 6 are normals. They look great, and I'll post more pictures when the shed!

One egg is persistent. It still looks good, but refuses to so much as dimple, although only 4 eggs did dimple. The 18th egg went bad. I cut it open to find an almost fully developed, but thoroughly kinked hatchling. Sad, but it wouldn't have had a chance outside of the egg.:(
