Corn snakes really like to hide out! Most you'll never see except when you're actually looking for them.
I'll look under a hide "No, not there!" then another one ... "No, not there!" I save the one he is normally in for last ... "There you are!"
 
It should be, but don't fret if your little guy goes of food for a week or two. Young corn's (from what I've seen with my snake) have been known to go on food strikes. But still offer food every week, or even every five days when Merlin is off food.
 
Good looking corn Marine. Thanks for your service. I haven't had too much problem with feeding my corn. Went off food twice, both due to temperature problems I think
