All Susan is saying, is she prefers to buy from the breeder and not a store. Most of us here prefer to buy from the breeder.

When you buy from the breeder, you can find out when they were fed, how they were taken care of, how old they are, when they hatched, etc. Often when you buy from a mail order store, you don't know how well they have been cared for and some stores don't even have them in stock. They just find someone else to ship them to you and charge you more than if you bought from the breeder. Not all stores do this, but many of them do.

Where ever you buy your corns from, do please check the seller out to see if they are reliable. Check the BOI before you buy.
 
Can you hand Feed Baby Corn snake or just use tongs? That's what i did with the Freckles when she was a baby, and I still do it!
