Hi all

I have both.

I like glass tanks because they are better for display, and the snake can see what's going on. I'm not sure if they care if they can't see though, I know Amel Boy is in his hide 24/7.

I like setrilite because it's easy to clean and move. I actually have a human heating pad under his reptile one, just to keep the reptile one pressed against the bottom of his tank (human heating pads are very bad to use, but it came with the snake that was re-homed to me. Needless to say, I got a reptile heating pad ASAP).

My set up
(and of course, Amel Boy has his own set up in the living room)
Hum, I need a newer photo. FinFang's tank has changed quite a bit (he loves his climby thing and cut-off-pant-leg hide)

And good luck. I'm glad you decided to come here and learn more about your pets!

A few questions: What do you and your Mom plan to do if the female lays eggs? Do you have a lay box ready, an incubater? Are you prepared to care for a bunch of hatchling corn snakes?
Also your male is not a motley at least from the pics it sure doesn't look like one.

she had a xl mouse which was to big
we might go to pets mart today, wats a good size sterilite for them? no one ever said:smash::smash:

wa?
what size sterilite u think they need

that questions has already been answered. And it really isn't that hard to look it up either, if Starsevol's answer isn't clear enough for you.

I use the 40qt with a locking lid.
You know, the basics..aspen, hide, water bowl, heat source, thermometer,,,just set it up like the 20 gallon is and you should be fine.

Maybe you should go to the library and see if they have any books on corn snakes, so you can learn to take care of them yourself. Or you can use Google and find all sorts of corn care sheets that will tell you what size viv's they need.
