How to cool a viv?

While we're all throwing out ideas I guess I'll throw one out... A DIY humidifier with ice cubes in the water? Win win, with increasing humidity (assuming Phoenix is pretty dry) and offering a cool breeze?

Aquarium air pump (10-20 or a 60 gallon size, up to you)
Some aquarium hose
An airstone of whatever size will fit in bottle
Empty plastic bottle (Gatorade works well, but something slightly bigger might work better?)
Google how to assemble.

Just whip it up, run it to the cool side, turn it on or plug it into a timer!

Not sure if this will work for the OP but it's a genius idea for raising humidity! So simple too, thanks :)

I like it, Nythain!

The cool packs are working great. They stay cool for a long time, it was still cool when I checked it today 24 hours later, and the middle temp was still at 75. Perfect. I also added substrate under her waterbowl (made of that molded clay that looks like stone) and she loves laying under it, cool enough on top but warm enough not to touch the cold packs. I picked her up last night and today and she was back to her "chill" self!

Kathy, I don't mind changing the pack out, I clean her water bowl every day so what is one more step in the name of love? :) Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it!
