The picture above is a snake I purchased last year from Pasco Paul. I purchased her as Champagne Reverse Okeetee Corn Snake. Some on this forum do not believe she is a pure corn snake but a hybrid instead. I will not name any names. So, what is your opinion?? Do you think she is a hybrid or a pure corn snake. You can check out his website at the address below. I have taken the liberty in emailing him to find out exactly what a Champagne Reverse Okeetee is and how it is created. Once I hear back from him I will post his email here. Thanks.

Head markings look like a corn, and the markings look like reverse Okeetee. Very pretty snake.

The overall look of it makes me think that it's a corn, the saddles, head pattern and the fact that it has nice reds. The only thing I question is the yellows it has. The yellows don't sit right with me, it makes me think that there's more than just corn there. I'm most likely wrong, as I don't spend forever staring at pics of corns and different types of hybrids. There's just something about the yellows...... :shrugs: :shrugs:

Its hard to tell if its pure or not.I looked at his website and he could of mixed it up with one of his jungle kings. The colors look like one of his jungle kings.
Hard to say.Very cool looking though!

It looks a lot like this guy to me:

This is a Creamsicle Okeetee from South Mountain Reptiles.

Pasco Paul

I have heard his name quite a few times and I can't think of any time I heard negative comments about him.
There really wouldn't be any advantage for him to call a reverse okeetee/creamsicle a pure corn reverse okeetee so I would take him at his word.
If he says corn snake I wouldn't give it a second thought. Corn snake it is.
Look at Terri's reverse okeetee/creamsicle.(which is absolutely stunning) It probably cost as much or even more then a typical reverse okeetee so as I stated earlier there would be no advantage to misrepresenting the snake.

Is this the same corn up for bid on reptibid? Very pretty snake BTW!!

I wouldn't be surprised that that snake is 25% king. I'd say jungle, but we have yet to hear about the breeder has said.

Just for the record, it was Joejr and myself who thought this snake might have some king in it. It was not meant to offend you Madam, and if it did, my apologies. I also said regardless it was a beautiful snake.

Yes it is the same snake that is on Reptibid. I'll be taking her off there since she is causing so much contrevarsy.

I have been to Paul's house and saw his corns in person,

although it has been a couple of years. His Chamapagne line is pure corn, as far as I know, as is the confetti. I don't think he knew the exact genetics of the lines at the time I was there, but I think they were pure corns. As far as I remember, they all had red / pink eyes, although they may look darker in some photos. Very pretty snakes, I am not familiar with the reverse okeetees of the line. But if Paul said they are 100% corns, that would be good enough for me. However, if you are unsure, you should ask Paul directly, since there is always a possibility of some kind of misunderstanding or miscommunication if you didn't speak to him directly. He's a great guy and I am sure he will truthfully answer any questions you have.

I heard from Paul today, the champagne is pure corn. He says it's basically a pink snow with a rosy stripe. I think he's holding back most of these for future projects.

Not trying to start any issues, but I'm curious.

Here's a picture of his champagne corn.

To me, it has the head appearance of a rat---at least I think so, and why are it's eyes black?

Good question, I've not seen the champagne in person. He'll be at the Tampa show in April. Hopefully he'll have one of these there for show
