I Finally get to yell, "Pippies!!!!" Now Too

I can't help but post more pics...

It's this moment that wakes something up inside me and I feel that rush of excitement for the hobby that only comes from seeing all the work and hopes result in little faces staring up at me from the bottom of a deli cup. To stand back and wonder at the miracle of life and knowing I played a part in making this happen, without messing it up. It's a step up, carrying the hobby to a new level of enjoyment for me, that I can never go back to just keeping pets.

Enjoy... I do...

First one out

Here's the first one to finally leave its egg...
(I really need to remember to change the focus from "center" to "all" when shooting in the dark)...

Cute photos! I look forward to seeing all of the pippies when they've all hatched! :)

How many are you expecting to hatch? And how many are still waiting to hatch yet??? ;)

Congrats! I love that second pippy in the last group of pippy photos. Just a normal but he/she looks gorgeous!

Icies! And a wee orange lava nose if I am correct?

Of course you are... and just look at the last one, my first Lava, and I've wanted one for so long, so definitely a keeper.

Actually I will be keeping all except the extra males and Normals... There is another Ice pipping and another Normal...

Congrats Joe....

good to see. Tomorrow I'll show Lisa this thread and she can put in an order.:grin01:

Thanks, she can come over every week and feed her favorites.... :D
Actually, you guys can come visit if you want to check them out, it's like Serpentarium Light... Price of admission is a very large Mocha Latte, lol...

Excellent news Joe,

My own clutches are, only just, beginning to hatch now..........&, although I thought that the excitment was not there any more, I found that I had lied when I rushed downstairs the following morning to see who had 'pipped' ha, ha! :D

Enjoy the exhilaration...........if it ever leaves ya, you know it's time to depart the hobby.

All the Best. Lex

Congratulations on your first Lava Joe, and all the other wonderful pippies

Hope they all turn out to be eager feeders too! :D

Best wishes,
