i have a few simple questions

if you don't need one right away, you can wait until August and buy a great little snow hatchling from rich for between 30-40 bucks. Some of his snows are just beauties. Also, do you want a pink snow or a yellow snow or a ......

and does it matter what kind of aspen bedding i get? (if u know of a brand that's not too dusty, that'd be great...)

aspen is pretty much all the same. just buy whatever is cheaper and easier to clean. Stay away from the things that smell really strong or get dusty and u'll be fine to choose almost any aspen bedding

Don't rush. Make sure you know your stuff, and have your viv set up before your new arrival will come. That way, you can perfect your temps, and have everything just right. The little guy will be stressed enough as it is. (Just some pointers, not trying to preach)

Yeah, he's been great thus far. He scared me once when he was younger. When he was aroung 8 months old, he stopped feeding for a little over 2 months. I got him checked out, and there was nothing wrong with him, he got a little thin, but was still active and alert. Scary as hell though...

Ooops, I just saw this post... I don't really know, I guess he'd probably be considered a pink snow...

nope, but i bet i will in time. As soon as i stop checking the locks all the time and get careless i bet they will be out in no time. when they really want to get out, they can be quite good little escape artists. Their little nose probe every where just looking for a weak spot

no, the 20 gallons i use have black pegs that you can insert into little holes which stop the sliding top from moving. I love these cages and think that they work great

btw, my cage is a 29 gallon long aquarium. do you think he/she will be comfortable in it right away? (ive heard that they like a smaller environment) do you think it will be large enough for an adult corn?
