if You were a parent what would you do?

Depends on the kid and their age. Some kids will do what they say and take care of a pet until it dies (which is usually a small rodent's lifespan), and other's won't.

Also, if the kid has just enough money for the snake and set up, that's a good start, but what about tax and feeding?


Also, if your parents say no, you can either try persuading them otherwise, or getting over it.
