Great intro! I love the kitties. If I ever tried a bought lizard, I'd probably get a beardie. I think it's kind of funny, had a couple new members named Amanda lately. That's actually my name too.

I've found that a lot of girls/women born in the 80's have the same name. Come to think of it, a lot of boys/men born in the 80's are named Josh... My brother, boyfriend and about 5 or 6 other male friends in my age-range are named Josh... Interesting... :laugh:

And I love my beardie so much, I'm thinking of getting another. They're kind of like snakes and potato chips- can't have just one!

This is the Goon-Squad: (R to L) Sabre (my Dobie), Silver, and Steele (my silly Rottie). This was X-mas about 2 years ago (I'm guessing because they're in the back of an ex's truck :rolleyes:) If you look through the windshields, you can see Tiny, my "old-man" kitty.

That's IRA's feeding tank, BTW. He's usually in a bigger one. Oh hey... maybe THAT's why he wanted to eat me! Today is not a high-functioning brain day for me, apparently...

Yep, I'd have to agree with that. I was born in '87 & my Mother didn't know any other Amanda's when she named me, then the lady that gave birth just after her named her baby Amanda too. It's been that way ever since, I grew up with 6 other girls named that & almost everytime I go in to a store I hear someone calling for an Amanda. All your critters are very cute, but I love Tiny the most. He looks like a outside cat I used to have, he would lay across my shoulders & sleep when I'd sit outside to read.
 
Welcome Amanda from another newbie...Glad to have you aboard and yes you are right everyone here is very nice, helpful and welcoming. We have a smaller menagerie, I have not done my intro yet guess I will have to get at it. Great animals.

Welcome! I am a newbie as well and have read Kathy's book cover to cover too. We also got our corn from her. An 08 albino Okeetee male. I love your intro and like the others am anticipating seeing pictures. Again welcome.
