Interesting resting/hide spot...

Sweetie was doing that just the other night. I took her out to handle her and had put her back. The timed lights on my fish tank went out, so I knew it was bedtime. When I was getting up off the couch, I looked over and Sweetie was hanging two thirds of her body off the ledge, giving me a great view of her checkered little belly! lol They can be so funny sometimes. :)

My little one was hanging out like that this morning. I woke up and I normally see it atop its log or on its branch but I couldn't find it anywhere until I looked closer. It made me laugh a bit especially considering I had originally thought it managed to escape.

Hey I've got a question..

My first new corn snake is just about that size. I've had him for a week now and fed him twice. Once the day I got him, and once yesterday. Not I've just been giving him pinkies, is this enough for them?? What are you feeding yours in the picture?

My little guy does laps around that lip, too. He always has. I've actually wondered what I can do for him when he's too big to fit there anymore, he loves it so much. I love how they can reverse direction when they're up there, too, by anchoring with their tail and swinging around to do reverse laps.

Tynan does the same. It is his favourate spot. Here`s a pic.

Pasqual,my Corn snake is going on 7 years old this October or so. Hes been doing that gasket fit thing at the top of the tank ever since he could reach . I think most corns love that place in the tank. Now that he is too thick ,Ive added and extra branch that runs from the floor up to the top so he can have a place to rest near the top when he chooses.I noticed that he goes up to the top more in Winter when he is searching for a mate.
