Introducing "Fire Blaze"

It's KILLING Nate to not be able to hold him just yet.....and the fact that these critters are nocturnal, has Nate upset at times because he doesn't see him when he's very active. We've been waking Nate up once or twice a night to come down and watch FireBlaze in the vines and making tunnels. This morning, he went downstairs to see him if he could catch the snake "before he went to bed" (which he didn't) and this is what he did:

That is so cute :) It must be tough for him and for you guys to say no, but you're teaching him an important lesson about putting his pets needs before his wants.

You have, hands down, the cutest child ever. This is actually making me want children ;)

Take him for a week, you might change your mind! Actually....he's a fantastic kid (and so are his two brothers). This little exercise in patience is EXACTLY what he needs.

I think their playroom is going to turn into an animal preserve. The 5 Y.O. wants frogs and the 9 Y.O. wants a bearded dragon. Oh well. YOLO.
