I recently had some Normal and Amel corns hatch out. mom was a Motley Sunglow and dad an Anery het amel(I guess lol). about half of the babies I have , have a lot of connecting patterns. are these still just normal's and normal amels with neat patterns, or are they partial zig-zag's?? is that even a term? lol... I was thinking the weird patterns were a result of being het motley??hoping someone with a little more knowledge will chime in...Thanks!!

No, it is very typical for many normally patterned corns to have a few connecting blotches here and there on their dorsum. To even remotely resemble a "zig-zag", they have to have a very substantial amount of the zig-zag patterning going on.

Agree with the other two, however, do you have more pics of clutch mates? You stated the parents were an amel motley and an anery het amel. You do not mention any other het traits. Maybe it is just my monitor, but the amel doesn't look like a standard amel, it looks like a butter and the "normal" I can't tell, but it may be a caramel type? More pics of the clutch would be helpful, but again, maybe it is just my monitor.

here's a few other clutchmates...to be honest the normals look pretty normal to me, and the Amels look pretty Amel lol, although maybe not the typical everyday Amel. they have some very deep reds

another longshot, but a friend told me he thinks a few look like reverse Okeetee's, is he crazy like me?!?! the corns are pretty new to me, I have owned them for 3+ years, but this is my first breeding attempt, I have been breeding dragons for years.
 
Definitely not "reverse Okeetee's". So-called R.O. are amelanistic corns that have VERY thick white saddle borders that would normally be black on a wild-type animal, which is what most "Okeetee" corns are noted for having as well as a very rich red/orange coloration. Those are very typical looking amel borders. Iam betting that yours will develop some very nice coloration as it mature too from what I can see.

Very nice looking corn for sure, but not a reverse Okeetee. If you do a google image search for "reverse Okeettee", you will see exactly what I mean.

Ya, I have a reverse okeetee but didn't get her as a baby, so wasn't sure haha ...I qm happy with just plain normals and amels lol
