Kaa's progression thread

Yeah but I meant what phase he's going to be I was hoping Alabama phase because of all the gray he has but he's slowly starting to lose them but then after sheds they come back, also I am posting from my phone but I've Posted more than one at a time on my phone before it just didn't let me today lmao

Wow, he's gotten so yellow. He looks like a nice example of a classic to me, but not really any of the locality-phases.

The lighting makes him look more red and yellow than he really is, the feeding bin was directly under a halogen light in my kitchen because I didn't want to use a flash and scare him while eating

A lot of babies look "Alabama-ish" when young. Your snake may not be an Alabama type. It almost looks like a Classic type in these last pictures, but maybe with some Hypo, but even that could change as he gets older and bigger.

Ah, okay. You should try taking him outside for naturally lit photos in the shade if you want to try to capture his true colors.

Yeah I'm still waiting for the colors to stop, Karl is there an averege age where they generally stop changing with sheds, and yeah I deffinatly will hypno as soon as he's bigger and I can trust him more he's still very quick and doesn't like to stay still long yet he is starting to slow down though thank god, I notice it even more after handling my no that I got a little over a month ago now

Don't know about an average age for colors to set in. I would "Guess" 2 or 3 years maybe???

My snake is approaching 2 years old (19 months to be exact) and even his colors are still changing. Mainly the Yellows running down his side seems to be getting brighter and more pronounced.
