Hello, i have a lavender corn snake and am hopin to breed her for the first time next year,, what morphs do you reackon i should breed with her that would make some nice hatchlings?? she is a lavender het diffused.

also, i find it very confusing about the genetics, so could u tell me what the hatchlings would be, thanks for any replies

:)

You should look at the corncalc website!

Male: Diffused

Female: Lavender het Diffused

Phenotype:

1 / 2 Diffused het Lavender
1 / 2 Normal het Lavender, Diffused

Genotype:

1 / 2 Diffused het Lavender
1 / 2 Normal het Diffused, Lavender

If you want to produce some variety, stick with the two genes you know she has already: lavender and diffused. Otherwise if you breed her to another snake with different genes (like an amel, or motley) then you will hatch only normal phase babies with het genes. Hope I helped some! Just keep reading and researching as much as you can before breeding.
