Mace My Hog Island Boa

Mace is my male Hog Island Boa that I got around a month ago.
Here is a few pictures of him. He is a little jumpy, but has never struck at me.

You are right. I didn't notice until two days ago. I picked him up and noticed his eyes looked really different. Thanks. It's very hard to tell when he is going to shed, because he is so light.

There's a way to know before the eyes become clouded- on the last picture, you see the skin folds around the face? usually so much "access skin" exists only prior to a shed- it will be more pronounced prior to shedding cycles.

Here's some more photos

First two are natural light the others are with flash.

(He was not happy with me after this photo. He decided to strike at my camera.)

And some in hand photos.

Wow!!!!! He is SO beautiful... Definitely been wanting a Hog Island for a couple years now. The guy I'm interested I'm getting one from should hopefully have babies born this month.

Thank you. Hog Islands are defiantly amazing Boas. This guy is so docile too, and has an awesome feeding response.
Hope you get yours soon. :)
