I imagine there -are- cheaper alternatives but... the higher quality usually more than makes up for the price- there are allot of crosses out there(though I work with crosses intentionally in order to create morphs)- Hog Isle crosses by the way aren't a bad option sometimes... there are some beautiful ColombianXhog isle out there... and I imagine they are cheaper.
Hey thanks Oren! I think you originally told me about them. I looked at their website, loved their boas & loved the detailed information even more, so now if someone is interested in dwarf or locality BCI, I think that's a great site to learn from.
I don't like the hogs as much: too low contrast. The corn isle is better, but still isn't as pretty as the BCI, IMHO.
What about short-tailed boas? Does anyone have an idea of what rio bravo's prices are on them? Or on the BCIs for that matter?
