Southern Comfort...

There are two distilleries up the road who make that stuff. If you ever smelled them, rotten fermenting rice, potatoes, corn, and God knows what else, you would swear it off. Can I get Michelob products in London?
Should I bring my own ice? I understand in Brittan beverages are served warm.

Here are some scary morris dancers, who drink real ale, just look what it makes them do! Also Prince William pretending he likes it

For you, Elle!

Ok Elle, you asked for it! Here's my chap at his jam night, playing blues harp, and then me pretending to be Hendrix!

I used to play guitar in junior school, but then in senior school had a totally bullying music teacher who shouldn't have been allowed near children. Due to 4 years of her ridicule, I totally lost confidence and now have a mental block where music is concerned. Many friends have tried patiently to help me, but it took me a year to learn 'chopsticks' on piano and then I promptly forgot it again. Again I eventually learned 3 chords for guitar, but have to be shown again every time I pick a guitar up. It's really frustrating, I get all anxious and screw up no matter how relaxed the situation or person teaching me thanks to one person's constant mental abuse.
As I've got lots of friends who play, as well as my middle son, I can enjoy their skills, but really wish I'd never met that evil woman.

You need to invest in an acoustic guitar and a "Privacy, Please" door hanger. Lock yourself in a private room and play for yourself. Better yet, get an inexpensive electric and play through headphones...nobody can hear but you...

I wish that would work..........I did have a nice little spanish acoustic, plus 'the guitar songbook', it took me months to learn 'leaving on a jet plane, then my mind just wiped it again! I'm determined to tackle it in time, but even totally alone I get panicky feelings trying to play thanks to the teacher. Her favorite tactics included making me stand in front of the class, interrupting before I made a mistake, then a barrage of insults. She was quite nasty to everyone, but singled me out for more intensive treatment. Some classes I had to spend sitting outside for no reason at all. I wish I could meet her now...........

Here's a pic from a ward night out bowling on friday. My colleagues wouldn't let me have the bumpers, so here's another shot straight down the gutter-thingy. I told them that obviously only less fashion-concious people could concentrate on a sport whilst wearing such horrible shoes :grin01:

I'm in love with these pictures! People and their animals are the cutest ever! I cant have cats or dogs being a college student living in co-ops. But I can have reptiles and caged animals so YEY! I really want a dog though. If I had a dog I would not really need anymore pets...or so I say now..(I rode horses from 4th grade through high school competitively and want one again but not till I have income!) Hamster, Rabbit, Snake (check, check, check) Dog, Horse (not check, not check)

:bounce: Pets are my one addiction...I love them to pieces...
