He may have gotten some dust in his nostrils. Maybe rinse his head off a little better. If he still has some mites crawling on him, maybe he needed a few minutes more of treatment. But I would give him several days to recover before treating again with any insecticide. In a week or so, do it again, but this time take him out of the sack after the same amount of time, but wait another 10 minutes before rinsing.
Did you treat everything in the cage too? You could probably put some of the dust under the bedding, where it can kill mites, but not affect the lungs of the snake. Try to avoid you or the snake breathing the dust any more than necessary. If he still has mites, you can give him a couple of long soaks while you are waiting for the next treatment. That will kill most, but not all, of the mites, and make him comfortable while waiting. Be sure to set up the bath so there is no danger of him drowning. You may find some mites gathered around the nose and face to avoid drowning. You can wipe those off by hand, allowing you to get rid of MOST of them immediately.
