Ain't it pretty? Many thanks to CD for putting the thought into my head to use this style of door for snakes (instead of just my garg gecko).

I looked at Ronon's mouth today and he seems alright. I actually managed to use a little wooden spoon, like what you use for eating a little single serve ice cream cup, to pry open his mouth a bit. Took me about five minutes because Ronon kept curling around and getting his head loose from my grasp, but we got it done. I'm surprised I didn't get bit. Either one of three things occurred: 1, Ronon is way more tolerant than I give him credit for; 2, he's just 'kennel shy' and that's why he strikes in his cage; 3, he learned from the 'screen incident' that striking for no reason isn't such a good idea actually.

Wait, so how did you get the plexi on there instead of the screen?

I cut the acrylic sheet down to size, taped it in place, then drilled holes through the acrylic and the frame, and used rivets to attach the acrylic to the frame itself.
