Hey everyone,

Finally got my first corn! I just want to make sure I have a positive ID on him. His/her? name is Rocky and I've had em for about 2 months now, just started eating f/t fuzzies, was eating two pinkies per feed when I got him. The store I got him from had him in a tank with a few siblings(who had much more orange in between their saddles) labeled Normal... the mother corn who was at the store was definitely okeetee though from her colors... when I first saw some pics online thought maybe Rocky was a Miami buttt...Rocky just had the first shed since ive had em and you can clearly see orange showing between the saddles towards his head...sooo just wanted to ask the experts here to be sure before I start telling people the wrong morph...Love Rocky no matter what he is just would like some clarification! Thanks to all in advance 8)

Rocky looks quite unique. The background colour and saddles look rather yellowish/tan in colour. Too yellow to be a Normal. So other option is Caramel. But is the background too orange to be a Caramel? And at that age I'd think a Caramel would already have more bakcground colour...

Perhaps he could be a Rootbeer (a.k.a. normal-coloured mixture of corn and emoryi ratsnake)...?

I would say "normal", but he does have a lot more silvery ground color than some of the normals I've seen. I wouldn't say Miami, because there is some orange color coming through his saddles, and I'm sure that it will only get more intense with each shed, but he's definitely a beauty!

Very pretty! Does look somewhat miami-ish, but you're right, about the orange filling in.
I bet that one turns out to be a stunning snake. :)

WOW! that was fast! Thanks everyone for your thoughts and comments! greatly appreciated 8)...i figured i would post another pic with the lighting from his cage, the first one was with my camera flash, just for a different look... enjoy!
